Maurice requires no introduction as the best Japanese racehorse to ever stand at stud outside his home country and he has certainly lived up to his reputation off the track as one of the leading sires in both Japan and Australia. He is the sire of five G1 winners, most notably our own triple Australian Classic winner Hitotsu and top-flight sprinter Mazu.

In 2022/23 Maurice was crowned Australian Champion Third Season Sire having produced eleven Stakes winners headed by Group winning 3YOs Bank Maur and Kibou, Listed winner and G1 Queensland Oaks placegetter Noah ‘N’ A Deel, 2YO Listed winners Azula and Namesake and of course Mazu, winner of the Sydney Sprint Series and third in The Everest and G1 T.J.
